ABOUT THE NEWBURY PARK HIGH SCHOOL CHORAL PROGRAM
The Newbury Park High School Choral Program is one of the finest high school choral programs in the region. Our high school campus is within the city of Thousand Oaks and in eastern Ventura County, and is part of the Conejo Valley Unified School District.
Our students dedicate their talent, commitment, and responsibility to create memorable musical experiences and award-winning performances. Members of this program not only have the opportunity to learn many advanced vocal skills, but will also embark upon a rewarding and exciting performance experience. Commitment is what will make our choir a success each time we venture out to represent our school and ourselves.
Vocal performances from our groups are enjoyed on the NPHS campus, our in the community, and across the country. Each year, the choir embarks on a Spring Tour that requires an overnight stay and extended travel for educational purposes and academic enrichment. Our classes are unique because they are performing groups, academic classes, and co-curricular activities, all in one.
No student will be denied full participation because they do not contribute financially to the program, nor must they purchase personal items. All we ask for is 100% of our students' dedication and participation throughout the year. In exchange, we promise skills and experiences that will last a lifetime.
